Day 01: Monday ATHENS – 4 day Cruise (B. L. D.)

Our 4day cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey leaves at 11:00h from Piraeus port (Athens).

MYKONOS/GREECE     (B. L. D.) (Arrival 18:00h / Departure 23:00h)

Depending on the weather and the traffic in port, our ship either docks or anchors in front of Myconos port or nearby, at the cape of Tourlos. In the latter case, Mykonos City is reached by coach service.  Mykonos, "the St. Tropez of Greece" is the place that many fashion designers and jewellers have chosen to expand their business.

In fact, Mykonos is preferred by a wide range of tourists for its cosmopolitan night-life, the golden beaches and its proximity to the island of Delos which can be reached by boat in 30 minutes time. You can wander through the narrow and windy roads, see the windmills, the white little churches (there are about 365 churches in Mykonos) built by fishermen in thanksgiving for their safe return after a strong "meltemi" storm.

Alternatively you can have a refreshing bath at one of the popular beaches of Plati Gialo, Agios Stefanos or Psarou, all accessible by local bus at a range of 6/7 kilometers away. All of them have changing facilities and small tavernas nearby, where you can enjoy a light meal by the sea. Or, visit the ancient sacred island of Delos.
Delos, once a Sacred Island , is the legendary birthplace of the Sun God Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. For 500 years, tiny Delos was the religious & commercial hub of the entire Aegean. Today, the only remaining inhabitants are the keepers of its treasured ruins.

Day 02: Tuesday KUSADASI /TURKEY     (B. L. D.) (Arrival 07:00h / Departure 12:00h)

This morning we call in at Kusadasi, a lively Turkish port and the gateway to the ancient city of Ephessos, one of the most impressive ruins of the Biblical world! It is said that John brought Mary (mother of Jesus) to Ephessos, after the crucifixion of Christ, and this is where she spent her last days. Optional tour:Visit the city of Ephessos, see the town hall, baths, the Grand Theatre where Paul preached.

PATMOS/GREECE     (B. L. D.) (Arrival 16:00h / Departure 21:00h)

The afternoon we arrive at Patmos, a holy island for the Christian religion.
It was here that John wrote the Book of Revelations during his exile by the Roman State. Optional tour to the Monastery of St. John and the Grotto. The cave where St. John lived is near the site of the Monastery of St. John, built on one of the island's highest points and houses priceless icons and manuscrips in its Treasury.

Day 03: Wednesday RHODES/GREECE     (B. L. D.) (Arrival 07:00h / Departure 18:00h)

The ship enters the port, which was once dominated by the Colossus, one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World.
Optional tour to the old town of Rhodos; tour within its high walls and through the narrow, winding streets. The castle of the Grand Master of the Knights and many other gothic places are still in remarkably good condition. Tour also visits Lindos where we can see the Acropolis; an exquisite site with its beautiful Temple of Athena Lindia. St. Paul is believed to have landed here in a small gulf at one side of the cliff foot.

Day 04: Thursday HERAKLION/GREECE     (B. L. D.) (Arrival 07:00h / Departure 11:30h)

Crete is the largest in size of all the Greek Islands, and famous in legend as the birthplace of Zeus, Father of the Gods. Heraklion is the biggest city and capital of the island – a bustling city full of life with a traditional central market and wonderful beaches.
Optional tour can take you to visit Knossos, the mythical palace of King Minos and the Minotaur.

SANTORINI /GREECE     (B. L. D.) (Arrival 16:30h / Departure 21:00h)

Santorini is not easy to describe. Santorini is not comparable with any other Greek island. What makes it so different from any other island, is its imposing landscape, the caldera with its impressionistic contrast of colours, its terrifying birth.... It has been said that the sunsets in Santorini are the best in the world. From the Caldera breathtaking views of the volcano & neighbouring islands.  From the east, miles of dark sandy or pebbled beaches. Everywhere one sees small domed churches and remnants of days gone by.
Optional tours can take you to either an island tour and a visit to the traditional village or Oia or to a mini-cruise sailing to the Volcano.

Day 05: Friday PIRAEUS–Disembarkation  (B. ) (Arrival 07:00h / )
